The California State Masters Scratch Tournament is open to all
CALIFORNIA USBC
members (male and female, youth and adult)
certified through the California USBC. This is a premiere elite event, where
the high average bowlers, both amateur and professional compete for a
state title. The champion also receives a paid entry into the National
USBC Masters event, one of the majors in the professional circuit plus
berths into the following two years Masters Finals.

finish from the Last Chance qualifier and will take the seeded
position of the absent finalist.

Qualifying: Use your Open Championships scratch
Doubles/Singles event scores or bowl in the Last Chance squad for seeded
berths in the finals.
Finals:
The competition in the
finals will be match play double elimination format. Each match will be
3 game sets with total pins determining the winner.
