Thank You to the Staff & Management of AMF Mardi Gras Lanes
and AMF Alpine Valley Lanes and to the Volunteers who kept score and
helped at the tournament sites.
Dear Bowlers & Coaches:
Trophies will be shipped
to your local association secretary for distribution to the youth
directors at the participating bowling centers.
If you receive a plaque from the trophy
company that does not belong to your association or bowling center,
please
fax the information to the state office right away to report the error.
Rather than having these
plaques sent back to the state office, we will provide information so
that the plaque can be sent to the center of the participant so that
there will be no delay in the participant receiving his/her award. If
you are missing a plaque, report this on the reporting form right away
and we will do our best to track it down or have it reordered. If you
have a plaque with a misspelling,
DO NOT
send it back to me. Please use the attached form to report the error
Trophy Form.
If everyone cooperates, all plaques will be received quickly by the
winners. Your cooperation is very much appreciated.
On behalf of the entire
California USBC Board of Directors, I congratulate all of the award
winners this year. I also congratulate all of the participants who came
to the tournament in the spirit of competition to vie for these awards
and scholarships. All of the bowlers who participated are winners. We
hope to see all of you in Northern Los Angeles County next year. There
is an advanced registration form for your convenience in the back of
this booklet. In the meantime, our best wishes to all of the bowlers,
coaches, parents, and interested supporters of youth bowling around
California for a great and productive season. I hope that all coaches
will make an effort to maintain their certification and be a part of
your local program and association. If you are interested in having a
coaches school in your area, and do not know who to contact, check the
website for a current list of instructors. This will have a very
positive influence on all youth programs. Good luck!!
I would like to thank
all of the local and state officers and directors who worked hard to
help make the 2007 tournament a great success. Thanks also to the
staffs and managements of AMF Mardi Gras Lanes and AMF Alpine Valley
Lanes as well as the Greater Sacramento Area USBC volunteers. With
everyone’s help, we were able to raise over $10,000 for scholarships for
our tournament champions. Thanks everyone.
Most sincerely,
Nancy Arvanitis, Tournament Chairman
California USBC Association
